Nikki

Lead Tech/CVT

My journey in this rewarding field began with a Bachelor of Science from Murray State University, where I developed a solid foundation in animal health and welfare. With 15 years of hands-on experience as a licensed veterinary technician, I have honed my skills across various facets of veterinary medicine, including general practice, emergency care, and surgical research.

My commitment to animal welfare extends beyond my professional life; at home, I share my life with four beloved cats who bring joy and companionship to my everyday adventures. I dedicate my time aiding with an amazing horse rescue, establishing the bond with animals is extraordinarily rewarding. I am driven by a deep-seated love for animals and a desire to contribute positively to their lives.

Veterinary Assistants

Meagan

Veterinary Assistant

I began my career in the animal care industry in 2018 as a professional dog groomer. As I grew in my profession, I was given the opportunity to train hands-on as a veterinary technician, working in a general practice with an urgent care component. This experience allowed me to gain a diverse background in various aspects of veterinary medicine and patient care.

Outside of work, I share my home with my husband, two children, five large dogs, and four cats, all of whom bring great joy to my life. I am also passionate about animal rescue and have fostered pregnant dogs for both a local shelter and a program based in New York.

Meagan
Kansas

Veterinary Assistant

With over 15 years of experience as a veterinary nurse, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for animals of all kinds—especially the ones a little less ordinary. I’ve spent five years in emergency and critical care, where every moment counts and every heartbeat matters. These days, I love working with exotic species and learning something new from each of them. If I could have any exotic companion, it’d be a crow—clever, curious, and full of personality, just the way I like my patients.
