Preparing for Surgery
We provide clear instructions on preparing your pet for surgery, including restrictions on food and water intake, how to handle medications, and when to arrive at the hospital. Once your pet arrives, our staff will take a pre-anesthetic blood sample and place an IV catheter running fluids to ensure your pet stays hydrated. Our surgical tables are even heated for your pet’s comfort.
Pet Anesthesia: Monitoring Every Breath
One of the most important aspects of any surgery is anesthesia. We promise to monitor every breath your pet takes before, during, and after administering anesthesia. We use the same cutting-edge technology that many universities use, and we always have a dedicated person in the operating room that monitors your pet’s breathing and vital signs.
Pain Relief
Your pet’s comfort before, during, and after surgery is very important to us. Our doctors are very experienced in pain management techniques. Medication will be provided to ensure your pet does not feel discomfort.
